In the prestigious 2021 National Piano/Violin Competition, we are delighted to announce that Chen Guangyuan, a student from Harmony Piano Studio, has been awarded the Honourable Mention in the Senior category.
This remarkable achievement highlights Chen Guangyuan’s exceptional musical talent and dedicated training, showcasing the high caliber of musicianship nurtured at Harmony Piano Studio. The Honourable Mention is a highly esteemed recognition, underscoring the exceptional skill and artistry demonstrated by Chen Guangyuan in the competition.
Several students from Harmony Piano Studio participated in the 2021 SIPC (Singapore International Piano Competition) and achieved remarkable results. Their outstanding performances showcased their talent and dedication to piano music, bringing pride to our school and reflecting the excellent training provided by Harmony Piano Studio.
We are proud to announce that Jin Kairui, a talented musician from our studio, has achieved remarkable success in multiple prestigious competitions.
In the 2021 Quebec Music Competition International, Jin Kairui has been awarded the Platinum Medal, showcasing his exceptional musical prowess.
Additionally, he has also received the Silver Medal in the North American International Music Competition, further highlighting his outstanding musical achievements.
Furthermore, Jin Kairui has been recognized with the Bronze Awards in both the Singapore SRIMF and Hong Kong HKCYAA competitions, further solidifying his reputation as a highly accomplished musician.

Ms. Yolanda Zou
Ms. Yolanda Zou is an accomplished pianist and educator with a Master’s Degree in Piano Education from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance. With over 20 years of experience, she employs various teaching methods and grading systems to nurture students’ passion for music and enhance their performance skills.
At Harmony, Yolanda’s students excel in ABRSM and Trinity piano exams, winning awards and securing admission to renowned music schools. She provides personalized teaching plans, supports DSA piano exams, and assists MEP students in improving their piano performance. Yolanda also trains her teachers, shares teaching techniques, and oversees teaching materials.
Beyond her role as principal, Yolanda occasionally publishes articles on piano teaching and administration, ensuring a love for music and fostering perseverance in every student’s musical journey.
